In a new video shot during Beyonce’s global Renaissance Tour, Blue Ivy Carter has been praised as the singer’s miniature version.
On Wednesday, May 10, Beyoncé began her first solo tour since 2016. The event was held in Stockholm, Sweden. The Grammy winner’s 11-year-old daughter is seen standing close to her father, Jay-Z, in a video from the first night of her Renaissance Tour, watching Beyoncé perform live.
Blue Ivy was seen wearing a casual black T-shirt, long black tresses, and hoop earrings. One fan humorously posted the video, saying, “Manager Ivy was there to make sure everything was running smoothly.”
After being reposted on Twitter, the video quickly gained over a million views. In the comments, a number of admirers expressed their surprise at how much Blue Ivy had changed over the years, while others couldn’t help but notice how much she resembled her well-known mother.
One Twitter user said, “Her little side profile just screams mini Bey.”
The comparison between Blue Ivy and Beyoncé is not new. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s oldest daughter attended the Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics NBA playoff game last year with her father in the front row. Blue Ivy was spotted sporting a black leather jacket over a black T-shirt, sunglasses, joggers, and black-and-white Nike shoes when the father-daughter pair first appeared on the jumbotron screen.
Social media users saw Blue Ivy’s likeness to Beyoncé right away when admirers shared side-by-side pictures of the 10-year-old and a 2007 snapshot of Beyoncé.
The oldest child of Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z (real nаme Shawn Carter) is Blue Ivy Carter. After getting hitched in 2008, the couple’s first kid was born in January 2012. Rumi and Sir Carter, the couple’s five-year-old twins, are also under their care.
