Beyoncé is sparked a lot of conversation in the country music world when she released two brand-new country-themed tracks during the Super Bowl

Beyoncé is making the transition to country music, which has generated a lot of discussion in the industry.

The 32-time Grammy winner and native of Texas released two brand-new country-themed tracks, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” during the Suρer Bowl on Sunday night. She also revealed the release of her next album, “Act II.”

General manager of Chickasaw Nation-Radio Stations (S.C.O.R.E.), which owns and runs KYKC, Roger Harris, expressed his desire in an email to “Good Morning America” that they had provided more details and informed the fan that Beyoncé performs on two of their other stations.

“TrutҺ be told, we had no idea that she was releasing country music,” Harris said, adding that “on top of that, we didn’t even have the song … we are just a small station that isn’t serviced by the big record labels” and they “really do love Beyoncé.”

After obtaining the song, Harris estimated that the station had played the song seven or eight times this week, which he believes “is a little higher than normal.” Harris said the station had gotten “literally thousands of emails and non-stop phone calls” requesting them to play Beyoncé’s new music.

Some of the station’s more “traditional” country music fans have “been backlash,” Harris said, saying they “don’t think the song deserves airplay.”

According to Bones, it would be “hypocritical” to be happy about Post Malone’s upcoming country album while disliking Beyoncé’s. This is especially true given that Beyoncé sang a country rendition of her song “Irreplaceable” with Sugarland at the 2007 American Music Awards, and she performed “Daddy Lessons” with The Chicks at the 2016 CMA Awards.

The “Dancing with the Stars” champion said, “It’s crаzy to me how people get upset about it,” before addressing others who argued, “That’s not country.”
