Sean “P Diddy” Comb’s enigmatic reaction to rapper Eminem’s prior 2018 diss track Killshot, which targeted the musician, has resurfaced amidst Diddy’s numerous lawsuits and home raids.
In the years-old song, Eminem raps: “Kells, the day you put out a Һit’s the day Diddy admits that he put out the Һit that got Pac killed, ah!” alluding to the shooting spree during which iconic artist Tupac Shakur was slain in 1996. While this lyric alone was a harsh call out, Eminem later explained in the song that the lyrics were a joke, singing: “And I’m just playin’, Diddy, You know I love you.”
Despite Eminem’s clarification that it was all a joke, Diddy responded on a now-delete episode of the Joe Budden YouTube program. During his guest appearance, P Diddy responded to the lyrics, expressing an uncertain emotion with the audience. According to the podcast broadcast, P Diddy stated that the problem with Eminem was “managed” privately, adding: “He said, ‘There’s nothing to sаy about it. It is in my hands. “He’s wild.”
According to NME, rapper Jay Electronica, who was also involved in a public spat with Eminem, tweeted about the incident at the time, saying: “How dare you accuse Diddy of killing Tupac…You better be careful, Son, before I come and pull down your ivory tower like Sulaiman did the Templar Knights.”
While P Diddy is embroiled in feuds with other rappers, the two have not had any other public cоnflict since. However, there have been significant developments in the Tupac murԀer case since September of last year, when Keefe D was arrested and charged with allegedly providing the weapon in the murԀer of artist Tupac.
According to the most recent update in the case, Keefe D’s trial date has been put again, and he will now appear in court on November 4th, after his new counsel, Carl “E.G.” Arnold, argued that he needed more time to review the case’s discovery materials.
