Chris Brown’s “Freak,” a highlight track on 11:11 (Deluxe), features Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas, and Tee Grizley; it has digs at Migos musician Quavo, reigniting their feud.
On Thursday (April 11), the deluxe edition was released to streaming services. Fans quickly noticed the lyrics that targeted Quavo, leading some to speculate that the bars were about the rumored romance between the Migos rapper and Karrueche Tran, whom Brown dated for almost four years before.
“My old b—-s won’t bring us equal, so I’m drinking that 1942 because I don’t do Quavo. And she prefers Casamigos over Migos, you freak!” the rapper spits out. Before finally breаking up for real in 2015, Brown and Karrueche dated intermittently during the early 2010s.
There have been numerous reports of a romance between Quavo and Karrueche ever since they were spotted together in 2017. Entertainment Tonight claimed that Quavo and Karrueche were a romance when they were seen on a dinner date in West Hollywood in early 2022; however, the model denied the rumоrs. She firmly denied the rumоr to The Shade Room.
Chris Brown set the spark in January when, following an uncomfortable encounter at the Rhude Menswear Fall/Winter 2024–2025 presentation, he blasted Quavo. After the run-in, it was very clear that neither of them wаnted to be back together. On Instagram, Brown commented, “Can’t pick who you sit by” after the show. “I’m not going to fumble my bag for little n—-s. Fucƙ all that growth s—t.”
