17-year-old boy sells house to pay for Travis Scott concert?

An irrational Travis Scott fan misled others online into thinking he had sold his house so he could go to the rapper’s Egypt performance. A TikTоk user named @thatlookslikecj started it all by posting a video of themselves standing next to a “sold” sign and a house. It has 5.1 million views, and he remarked, “I actually did it,” on the video. “I lowkey might have to sell my kidney for this.” was one of several comments posted by fellow enthusiasts. “Excellent economic decisions,” another person said, while a third person said, “This deserves more fаme.” “If you’re that desperate to sell your own home for Travis Scott you deserve whatever comes to you,” a single individual said.

Although many on social media believed the move, it was later revealed that the narrative was entirely fictional and that the TikToker is famous for his editing skills. “We regret to inform you that the UTOPIA show, originally scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt is cancelled,” announced Live Nation, the promoters of the event.

The show could not be built in the desert, unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the production crew. This is obviously not the result any of us had hoped for, and we apologize for the disappointment. Fans were refunded for their tickets, and they apologized for the “inconvenience.” They added: “We remain committed to bringing exceptional live performances to fans and hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.”
