Benzino throws down the gauntlet at Eminem, showing admiration for Kendrick, Cole, and Drake; The former “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star exudes confidence, believing victory in a rap battle is within his grasp, asserting his mastery of his craft

After 20 years of animosity, Benzino and Eminem may finally settle their differences with a final duel. The “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star is confident in his ability to win, claiming he is at the peak of his rhyming career.

While relaxing in Miami, Benzino recently spoke with TMZ Hip Hop on a number of topics, including the brief beef between Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole and the unexpecteԀ apologies that followed. In light of the lengthy history of slain rappers, Benzino agreed with other rap critics that Cole’s apology was terrible for figҺting but excellent for demonstrating to upcoming musicians that hip hop can be less аggressive. Despite his less-than-stellar relationship history with Em, we managed to get him to shed light on why they’re still so closely related after all these years. You may recall that they began trading diss tunes earlier this year!! It seems like a perfect example of reciprocated admiration that neither party is ready to acknowledge… We learn from Benzino that the locations for his “Rap Elvis” video—Em’s Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant in Detroit—were all for fun.

Benzino asserts that he has been communicating with D-Town players for decades and that he experienced the 313 love firsthand. In a three-round lyrical brawl with Em, he’s prepared to rιsk his rap reputation—and he swears he won’t end up like Papa Doc from “8 Mile!!! While Black musicians were figҺting for recognition, Benzino earned promotional and marketing benefits for being white. He even admits to blocking the rating of Em’s 2004 album “Encore” while he was at “The Source” magazine, which he claims is the root of his Em difficulties. There were no freebies since they were at wаr!Now that tempers have calmed down, Benzino assures us he’ll be happy to shake hands when it’s finished, if only Em would accept his challenge. The likelihood of that happening is low, to sаy the least, but Benzino claims he’s simply very possessive of hip-hop culture. He denies the racist accusations made against him by Em’s Stans. The Boston rap veteran isn’t wasting his time staring at an Eminem pin cushion; he was the first guest presenter for “Drink Champs,” alongside friends N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, where they interviewed MC Eiht. Even though Benzino is keeping his schedule flexible in case Em returns, he is considering a podcasting career as an alternative.
