Students and the football team from Louisiana State University joined Travis Scott on Wednesday to celebrate the debut of his company Cactus Jack’s new collection. As a surprise for the school’s football team, the hip-hop artist posed for pictures while wearing items from the college-themed collaboration.
A gift from the new collection—a collaboration between Cactus Jack, Fanatics, Lids, and Mitchell & Ness was presented to the LSU football team by Scott and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin to start the evening off. “Jack Goes Back to College” is a fitting title for the anthology. When their time with the football squad was up, Scott and Rubin attended the midnight launch of the collection at the LSU bookstore. Several pieces of clothes featuring LSU emblems were made available exclusively to LSU students, who were among the first to view the new products.
Not only will Scott and Rubin be visiting LSU, but they will also be visiting USC and the University of Texas at Austin. There is a limited-edition collection of hats and clothing in “Jack Goes Back to College” that covers 28 different schools across the nation. Some of these schools are Tulane, Boston University, Tulane University, and the University of Alabama.
You may find hoodies, shorts, sweatpants, T-shirts, crewnecks, and backpacks in this assortment. In addition, you can get Mitchell & Ness snapback caps that have been redesigned by Cactus Jack and feature logos from the featured institutions.
You can find items from the collection on the Travis Scott website, at some Lids stores, at Barnes & Noble College campus bookstores, and on Fanatics.com. Styles range in price from $68 to $160.
Among the brands and fashion houses that Cactus Jack and Travis Scott have collaborated with include Nike, Audemars Piguet, Dior, and LeBron James’s Uninterrupted. The French fashion brand Dior announced in June 2021 that they would be collaborating with the hip-hop musician for their me𝚗’s spring 2022 collection. In March of 2017, Scott established Cactus Jack Records.
