Nicki Minaj calls Travis Scott and Chris Brown to beg for an upcoming remix of “FTCU” despite her bitter animosity with them

A remix of “FTCU” by Nicki Minaj is officially in the works. The rapper revealed the addition of Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and Sexyy Red to the revamped tune today (April 18). It is scheduled for release tomorrow (April 19).

An Instagram photo of herself in a black bodysuit served as the official cover art, which she shared with her followers. Featuring a golden metal cast of hands at the bust, it was designed by Gaurav Gupta. Notably, Minaj sported the ensemble multiple times on her “Pink Friday 2 World Tour.”

Several musicians, including JT, Kidd Kenn, Maliibu Miitch, and others, showed their support for the upcoming release beneath her announcement post. In a comment, the member of City Girls used fire emojis.

Brown and Minaj have worked together extensively over the last decade. Hits like “Love More,” “Only,” and “Right By My Side” are among their collaborations. In 2023, the New York rapper dropped “Pound Town 2″—the sole collaborative effort between the two artists—with Sexyy Red.

However, in 2017, Scott and Minaj were both featured on “Krippy Kush (Remix)” by Farruko and Bad Bunny. Pink Friday 2 features the song “Pink Birthday,” which features a sample of the Houston native’s “Pоrnоgraphy.”.

In January, Minaj tweeted a teaser for a new version of “FTCU” with the following: “If there were a male rapper featured on the third verse of ‘FTCU,’ who would be your guess?” Also, she dropped hints about Red becoming a racer in April.

“Do you have the verse for ‘FTCU’?” Minaj released the remix, “Sexyy Red,” on the app. “Heading out of “Pound Town” to “FTCU.” Is that a remix of a remix? In response to the “SkeeYee” artist’s suggestion of a music video, the 41-year-old woman offered that, given her tour commitments, they have their children star in it.
