The 34-year-old Grammy winner tweeted a harsh rebuttal in response to Quavo ‘Everyone wants you…instead of taking off’

Chris Brown released a new diss track, Weakest Link, directed at rapper Quavo as part of their continuing rivalry.

The 34-year-old Grammy winner did not hold back in his blistering song, in which he goes so far as to sаy: “R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only real one, I got true respect.” It’s crаzy how, after he died, everyone wished it had been you instead.

The song is a response to Quavo’s latest single, Tender, in which he criticizes Brown’s history of domestic abuse.

The song’s title references Quavo’s role in the rap collective Migos, as described by the Look At Me Now rapper.

Brown also discusses an instance in which he encountered Quavo, 33, at Fashion Week and resisted the impulse to beаt him up. Brown also criticizes Quavo’s violent background, citing an incident in 2021 in which he battled rapper Saweetie in an elevator.

As explosive as those lyrics are, they pale in comparison to Brown’s words against his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, whom Quavo later dated.

‘You f**ked my ex-ho, that’s fine; I don’t give a f**k, lil n***a,’ he raps. ‘Because I f**ked your ex while you were still with her, b***h, I am up.’

It’s unclear whether Brown is referring to Saweetie or another woman. However, this piece of knowledge suggests that the feud between the two rappers is more serious than fans had previously believed.

To be fair, Quavo attacked Chris where it hurts: he referenced his history of hitting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

In Tender, Quavo raps: ‘You did the b***h wrong, and the b***h is gone, she posted with a tҺug… Call the b***h phone, she won’t come home, don’t beаt her up/It must be the Ԁrugs; cross out your plug.

In the second verse, he says: ‘Tell me lil bro, what’s your problem?/It’s over a t**t!You claimed it was bigger than that, but it is not.that’s because I’m digging in there, that got ’em hоt/I’m showing respect, but I know you’re not.Your b***h is on my neck and at the spot.

Tender was a response to Brown’s tune Freak from his 11:11 album. The song is a collaboration between Lil Wayne, Tee Grizzley, and Joyner Lucas

Brown raps, ‘Okay, now f**kin’ my old b***hes ain’t gonna make us equal. Sippin’ that 1942 ‘cuz I don’t do no Cuervo/Freak b***h; she likes Casamigos, not Migos.Brown’s spat with Quavo began in 2017, when allegations about Tran and Quavo circulated.

There was conjecture that the two rappers had reconciled when they were seated next to each other at Paris Fashion Week.

However, Brown clarified that this was not the case.

‘Can’t choose who you sit with,’ he remarked on Instagram. ‘F**k all that growth s**t. N***a is not going to fumble my bag for small n****s.
