What’s inside Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s $400 million luxury superyacht just chartered?

How do you envision a weekend getaway? Perhaps a cozy AirBnb tucked away in a charming countryside town just a short drive away? Or maybe it involves renting a beachfront apartment, spending most of your time basking in the sun, almost as if you were sleeping on the sand itself (à la Quinn Mossbacher from White Lotus).

However, if you happen to be Beyoncé and Jay-Z, a break from the ordinary seems to entail indulging on a $400 million superyacht. Their chosen holiday destination? A picturesque stretch of lavish-looking water, not too far from an unassuming Mediterranean coastline.

Of course, venturing off the yacht would likely never cross their minds. This German megaboat, measuring 450 feet in length and 67 feet in width, goes by the nɑme of the Flying Fox and comes with a price tag of approximately $4 million (in US dollars) per week for chartering.

Designed by Espen Øino and constructed by Lürssen in Germany, the Flying Fox can accommodate up to 25 guests and 55 crew members. At present, it serves as the exclusive retreat for Beyoncé, Jay-Z, their children, and whoever is responsible for capturing their studio-quality holiday photographs.

The Flying Fox boasts numerous impressive features, including a 12-meter pool for those moments when the ocean loses its allure. For entertainment purposes, there is a cinema and two helipads. Should you wish to keep your guests engaged, a hidden nightclub awaits on board, along with a two-story spa for when the revelries of the nightclub become too lively.

The spa features a cryo sauna, hammam, and a team of skilled therapists. And when hunger strikes, fеɑг not. The ship’s kitchen is fully equipped to cater to your culinary cravings, housing a rotisserie, teppanyaki grill, and a pizza oven.
