On June 3, the renowned rapper Rick Ross hosted his second annual car and bike show at his sprawling Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Despite initial permit challenges, the event was a resounding success, drawing thousands of enthusiasts for a day of entertainment, camaraderie, and mouthwatering cuisine.
Over 6,000 attendees were expertly managed by 75 police officers from various jurisdictions, ensuring smooth traffic flow along Atlanta’s Old National Highway. The event showcased a diverse array of attractions, from impressive car displays and Black-owned businesses to engaging bull riding competitions courtesy of Clay Taylor’s Bucking Bulls.
Rick Ross, a.k.a. the “Maybach Music” rapper, generously awarded $1,500 to Rooster, a professional bull rider who achieved a record-brеɑkinɡ performance. A.J. and Rio, seasoned Black bull riders, hailed the event as a historic moment for their sport, emphasizing the importance of representation for future generations.
Music took center stage as Gucci Mane delivered a captivating performance, belting out hits like “Lemonade” and “Wasted.” The grand finale featured Rick Ross himself, with an electrifying rendition of “Ima Boss” alongside surprise guest Meek Mill. The flawless execution of the event left both fans and once-concerned neighbors impressed.
