Trae The Truth acts to help those affected by recent Houston storms

Once again, Trae Tha TrutҺ is pitching in to aid the Houston community, this time responding to the victims of the recent devastating hurricanes.

According to NBC News, seven people were killed in last week’s series of strong winds and torrential rains in Harris area, Texas, which is home to Houston. As of Saturday, May 18, more than half a million residents in this area are still without electricity.

Furthermore, officials are worried that other residents of the region may be much more negatively affected by the increasing temperatures and the possibility of additional storms.

In response to a plea for assistance from his fellow Houstonians, the rapper sent a message on Instagram.

Before the year came to a close, the rapper and Cedric The Entertainer collaborated to distribute free coats to Houston’s homeless population.

Through an Instagram post, Trae expressed his decision to bless hundreds of homeless people with coats and jackets to keep them warm. He did this on behalf of his daughter, @iambabytruth, and reliefgang.

The two spoke to reporters who showed up at their donation site in a video that Cedric uploaded.When questioned about the feeling of being able to give back while in town for a gig, Cedric stated, “It’s special.” Everyone is aware that Trae is a really down-to-earth person. One of the things that has always meant a lot to me as his brother is his dedication to working together with the city.

As he went on, he said, “It’s one of those things, we hear to do some great and good for the people.” We are spreading a lot of love and joy this holiday season. Performance and giving are my goals in coming here. Making people laugh and smile is one thing, but really connecting with them is paramount.
