J. Cole’s lackluster verse on Cash Cobain’s “Grippy” gets fans mercilessly laughing

Fans were quick to criticize J. Cole for his uninspired verse on Cash Cobain’s latest single “Grippy.”

On Friday, May 24, the Queens rapper dropped a new single that includes a guest appearance by the Dreamville founder.

Following the release of the song, fans started sharing their opinions on it the following day, with many Hip Hop experts cruelly mocking the rapper from Carolina.

A video with the caption “This message is for Jermaine Cole” was uploaded by an anonymous user. As you did with “Seven Minute Drill,” I’d enjoy it if you will return the “Grippy” song. There is yet time.

Another person mentioned that “Y’all know how J. Cole has been teasing the dropping of ‘The Fall Off’?” I meаn, what if guy was just trying to promote himself the entire time?

Somebody else also recorded themselves making apprehensive expressions in response to the verse.

“Now she in my phone with a nickname/ It’s, it’s, it’s, hmm/ Grippy.” Cole’s words especially disappointed fans.Cole and the upcoming New York rap sensation reimagine Kurt Cobain’s “Dunk Contest” and use it to lyrically express their desire to sleep with a stunning woman.

The rapper Cole raps: “Grippy” because her hair is so unruly. “She thinks it’s hip, she’s a hippie. “She thinks about lips, she’s going to lick me. “When she hits me, she sends a flick.” She expresses her longing for me with a kissing emoji and says, “When she sees me, she’s going to strip me.”

Although Cole released the single after appearing on We Still Don’t Trust You, featuring Future and Metro Boomin, some fans were much more critical of the track. It was Cole’s second single since withdrawing from his rap figҺt with Kendrick Lamar.

That Cash Cobain song had a fuckιng horrible verse from J Cole, they said.

A TikTоk user went viral earlier this month after they encountered the Dreamville rap sensation at the beach. This incident occurred during the intense rivalry between the two artists, which has been captivated Hip Hop fans for weeks.

The user, who goes by the handle @2kold.fr, shared a video of soothing ocean waves that transitions to a snapshot of herself sitting on the beach with Cole.
