He has developed his own distinctive psychedelic style throughout the years by sampling several artists’ sounds; for example, Ye, Kid Cudi, Future, and many more. But he was already planning his rise to fаme while he was still a student, long before he started rapping. One of the several Travis Scott fan accounts has unearthed an essay from his brief time at university, according to XXL. It appears that this four-page paper dated December 5, 2009, was intended for an English professor.
Actually, Trav went to school at UTSA, in case you were unaware. In the end, he became the divisive celebrity we know today, but he dropped out of school during his second year. The article is Scott’s chance to show off his rap acumen; he summarizes Big Sean’s and Kid Cudi’s careers. He says they were “well-known rappers that had similar lifestyles but different messages.” As a result, these similarities “carried them an opportunity to get signed to a multi-million-dollar company called G.O.O.D. MUSIC.”
Scott aimed to show, near the paper’s conclusion, that “Success is not something that is giving out,” through this anecdote. It is imperative that you seize your desires. Unfortunately for the multi-hyphenate, his admirers have wasted no time tearing it to shreds, no matter how noble his intentions were. “This guy wrote the introduction, so all you have to do is copy and paste Wikipedia!” another person captions. “Gоddamn, I’m not making any brain cells grow anymore,” someone else comments. It appears he knew this material by heart, even though some of the language is not entirely perfected.
