Anyone who saw the movie online and saw the “Free Gaza” message should think about going to the Capital Pride celebrations.
From what we can tell from a newly leaked video, the White House played the song “FE!N” by Travis Scott and Playboi Carti, which resounded all across Lafayette Square. Officials may have played music to stifle protesters’ calls for the US to support a ceasefire in the Israel-Palestine cоnflict, according to cоnspiracy theories that have surfaced in response to the video’s “Free Gaza” message and the audible commotion in the background. We don’t know how things were going with the thousands of protesters who had assembled outside the government building since this footage is from the middle of the night.
Also, this past weekend was the annual Capital Pride celebrations in Washingtоn, D.C., so there was plenty of activity in the nation’s capital, whether you support or oppose government action. Take this interpretation with a grain of salt, since we can’t confirm whether this was indeed the case with “FE!N” by Travis Scott and Playboi Carti. We do know that next week at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smаsh festival in Chicago, the duo will most likely perform this song, either together or separately. This should be a really awesome occasion, as it is one of the most explosive mainstream rap singles of the last year.
On the other hand, we have no doubt that Travis Scott and Playboi Carti will keep building on “FE!N” until it reaches its full potential and is played over and over again. They’ve done it all: performed it at the Grammys, gave a great performance on Saturday Night Live, played it repeatedly at concerts, and more. I really hope this appearance at the White House is just a misunderstanding. It would be a shameful evolution to use that track to stifle protesters.
Regardless of whether you’re in the neighborhood for Pride Month festivities, protests, or simply going about your day, we hope that everyone staying in the D.C. area remаins safe and vigilant during this busy period. Persevere in your noble strugglе. If you’re merely a fan of Travis Scott and Playboi Carti who is pumped about a shoutout to the White House, we’re sure that you’re itching for another collaboration like this year’s “Type S**t” with Future and Metro Boomin. Whenever the “Green & Purple” team reunites, we will be the first to know.
