We don’t know how things were going with the thousands of protesters who had assembled outside the government building since this footage is from the middle of the night.

Also, this past weekend was the annual Capital Pride celebrations in Washingtоn, D.C., so there was plenty of activity in the nation’s capital, whether you support or oppose government action.
