Joe Budden reveals that Jay-Z called “Cap” on the alleged Beanie Sigel treachery

Joe Budden claims that Jay-Z texted him soon after he discussed the testimony on his podcast.Recent fan attention has focused on Beanie Sigel’s attempted murԀer prosecution from 2004 and has cast doubt on Jay-Z’s credibility due to allegations of bias in his testimony. Former Roc-A-Fella member Oschino claims that taking the stand didn’t benefit Sigel much. Jay-Z informed the judge earlier this month that he would not be ready to be held legally liable for Sigel’s behavior, according to an interview he gave to Sаy Cheese.

Naturally, this set up a discussion over whether Jay-Z was incorrect to do this. There was even some talk about it on Joe Budden’s podcast. Budden and his co-hosts did not hold him responsible for choosing not to be liable since they all felt the same way if they had been in his shoes. But they did ask why Jay-Z bothered to show out to court if he wasn’t going to completely endorse Sigel. Then, in a different episode of his podcast, Budden mentioned that Jay-Z texted him after the part went live to discuss it. While reading it, he had the impression that the billionaire might have been impaired, in his opinion. “He says cap, the story’s cap,” the personality explicated. “Some stuff is so stupiԀ that you don’t think it will stand the test of time, but then you n***as…” After calling himself a “rat” and making light of the fact that it’s none of his business, Budden continued to express his regret for bringing it up.

Oschino stated he witnessed it personally and was surprised by it, but Jay-Z seemed to deny refusing to testify on Sigel’s behalf. “I was simply wondering, ‘Why did he show up at court then?'” He insisted that he would use the phrase “I’m responsible for him for him to get out” whenever he had a friend in trouble.
