Travis Scott’s arrest in Miami is confirmed to be due to his return to the yacht to retrieve two valuable items he leaves behind

Supposedly, Travis Scott went back for his belongings after the police warned him to keep away from a yacht. The news broke earlier this month that Miami police had detained Travis Scott on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication. It was eventually revealed that the performer’s arrest began with a small quarrel on a yacht, albeit at first the details surrounding the performer’s detention were murky. Despite repeated requests from law enforcement to vacate the area, he allegedly returned and was subsequently apprehended.

Now we know why he felt the need to come back thanks to sources who recently spoke with TMZ. His luggage and phone, among other important possessions, were allegedly left behind by him. Upon returning to get them, he allegedly asked for a police escоrt to accompany him back to the yacht. Nonetheless, he was apprehended despite prior warnings to be away.

This is terrible news for the hitmaker, but he doesn’t seem to have let it sink in too deeply. He boarded a plane back to Los Angeles few hours following his release from custody. His mugshot-adorned merchandise was even unveiled that very day. In a subsequent statement, his lawyer Bradford Cohen made it clear that the disagreement did not turn violent. “A misunderstanding led to Mr. Scott’s brief detention,” Cohen clarified. “There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”
