Eminem drops teaser for upcoming Detroit rap collaboration featuring two generations of artists

Just a few days remain until the release of Eminem’s second single from his upcoming album.

In order to promote his upcoming single “TOBEY” featuring Big Sean and Babytron, the 51-year-old rap veteran dropped a black-and-white video on Friday (June 28). The music video, directed by Cole Bennett, will be released three days after the song goes live on July 2, adding even more polish to the already impressive track.

On the promotional track, the youngest child raps, “Tobey Maguire got bit by a spider, but see, me, it was a goat.” This is in reference to Sam Raimi’s Spiderman trilogy (2002–2007).

In the preview, we see Em standing alongside his accomplices as he chops off the head of a chalk figure. Even though all three of them are wearing jumpsuits, the boss of D12 is particularly noticeable because he is donning a hockey mask in the style of Jason Voorhees, which is a throwback to his younger days.In an obituary for his fictional alter ego, Slim Shady, released last month, Eminem began the rollout for his twelfth studio album.

The editorial focused on the upcoming film The Deаth of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grâce), which was published in the Detroit Free Press in the middle of May.
