Quavo officially announces release date for collaboration with Lana Del Rey

After months of teasers, Quavo finally revealed when his Lana Del Rey collaboration will be available for purchаse.

In an Instagram post featuring a Polaroid of Lana putting on his chain, the ex-Migos rapper announced that “Tough” will be released on Wednesday, July 3, with the caption reading “Tough 4th Of July.”It seemed like the unlikely duo was working on a song together when they were seen attending a Grammys party earlier this year.

In May, they posted an Instagram photo of themselves on a front porch with the caption: “If u come from where u come then u were born…Tough!” They also included a sample of the unnamed song.Collaborating with rap artists is nothing new for Lana Del Rey. The Weeknd was a collaborator on her 2017 album track “Lust for Life,” which was featured on the album. On the same album, she collaborated with A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti on the track “Summer Bummer.”

She has also worked with The Weeknd on two of his songs: “Prisoner” from his 2015 album Beauty Behind the Madness and “Stargirl Interlude” from his 2016 album Starboy.

When she and Quavo arrived at a Grammy party at The Fleur Room in West Hollywood, California, the “Candy Necklace” singer and the rapper from “Bad and Boujee” were seen cuddling up in the back of the car.

The two appeared to be enjoying each other’s company, as they both wore radiant smiles, even though they weren’t seen holding hands. Upon disembarking, Quavo immediately assumed the lead, with Lana close behind.
