Travis Scott has a habit of always thanking his daughter Stormi every time he receives a major award, but does not mention Kylie Jenner

At the MTV Video Music Awards, Travis Scott accepted his Best-Hip Hop trophy while mentioning his daughter Stormi, although he omitted Stormi’s mother, Kylie Jenner.

On Sunday night, in New York City’s Barclays Center, the 30-year-old rapper was collecting prizes for his track Franchise, which features Young TҺug and M.I.A.

In addition to his nomination for Best Direction in a Franchise, he lost out to Lil Nas X’s MONTERO (Call Me By Your Nаme) performance.The 24-year-old Jenner, who is the mother of the rapper’s three-year-old daughter and is expecting their second child together, shared a photo of Scott accepting the trophy on her Instagram Stories to celebrate Scott’s triumph.

On Sunday, an insider informed Page Six that Jenner, despite being seen in New York last week, “was never [planning on] going” to the rhw award show.

Among the several New York Fashion Week appearances made by the Kylie Cosmetics entrepreneur was LaQuan Smith’s show atop the Empire State Building.

In keeping with their past appearances at the Met Gala in 2018 and 2019, the two are reportedly planning to attend the event together on Monday night.

After being linked since April 2017, Jenner and Scott broke up in October 2019 and then reconciled in early 2021.
