Although Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour broke records for the highest-grossing tour by a female rapper, it hasn’t been without its share of setbacks.Dutch authorities detained the “Suρer Bass” singer in May at an Amsterdam airport for what they called “possessing soft Ԁrugs” just before she was to take a flight to Manchester.

She had to postpone her performance in the English city due to her inability to reach the venue in time, but she was subsequently fined and freed.

The arrest, according to Nicki, was accompanied by “disgusting” treatment, and she implied that racial bias was a factor.

In an interview with Stationhead, she told viewers, “I don’t know when was the last time I felt that low” because to her inability to travel to Manchester.

“To top it all off, the knowledge that you are the target of intentional discrimination just because you identify as a self-assured member of a different racial group […] Out of all the males present, I could tell that the one woman had a soul. I would never wish that kind of abuse on anyone. It was really repulsive.

“No,” Nicki replied when asked by a listener if the Dutch authorities treated her with “human” dignity. I remained in the building at the time the news release announcing my release was issued. They might have been performing damage control, I’m not sure.
